CRAVE – Hundreds of young wine drinkers have converged on the wine sold event of the season as Paso Robles went 30 miles south of San Luis Obispo to show the richness of their wines to a new generation of wine drinkers. The expectations of being caught in one night Fine entertainment, tempting small bite and pleasing to the palette wines were exceeded in all accounts.
Entering the lobby of St. Louis Veterans Bishop usually less than 30 comments were received by welcoming guests and handed him a glass of 2007 killer Rose – Tempranillo Martin & Weyrich paddle damp cellar for the wide range of foods and wines available to come.
Previous post and in the spacious lounge, guests were fascinated with all the exciting features available options. There were nine wine bars for the enjoyment of wine and a meal including wines pair with food restaurants, shops specialized and caterers. Each bar focuses on a variety of wines from many different producers. Surprisingly, the event featured more than 60 wines of Bodegas Robles Step to provide a single view of what the 200 Paso Robles wineries have to offer.
Many began with the white wine and enjoyed ravioli of lobster on top with a sweet vermouth / tarragon cream sauce provided by the Level 4 Restaurant & Lounge. The lobster even better with the Flip Flop, a / Chardonnay blend Viognier Red Soles Winery. The next stage was the white bar of the Rhone in Novo Restaurant and Lounge provide a delicious salmon ceviche wild with lemon grass mojito that pairs perfectly with Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc de Tablas Creek Vineyard.
Many decided to take a break of white before the address bar to red wine, and went to the comfortable sofas and armchairs to relax, chat with friends and take the stage. A DJ spinning tunes as the crowd swayed to the beat Millennium cleaning behavior in the room.
CRAVE was full of energy and smiles, and it was clear that this inaugural event was one that definitely draw a crowd in the future and probably the next event for the public should Twenty Something along the coast central.
The bars in red wine were plentiful, with six bars to choose from. The Native Syrah Restaurant Bar and Lounge serves ahi tartare tacos with Napa cabbage was the crowd favorite and bore well with a little Syrah Halter Ranch Vineyard.
The final wine bar was the dessert bar are delicious citrus Olive Oil Brownies made with olive oil Pasola six wines paired with dessert. Dessert wines are Cass Late Harvest Winery Cabernet France, and ports fortified.
Some finishes night at the wine bar for dessert and headed home, while others chose to board a free shuttle Wine Wrangler and continue the center. The provision of the shuttle, which has been invited to three locations, illustrated the commitment of the Tasting and congratulated the staff without concerns, enjoying nature of an event that is sure to be renewed in the coming years.
