A History of the bag
Bags have reached iconic status – we have a bag for every occasion, and our final bag (Hand) goal is to have a designer do. We can not do without them – where would we maintain our basic needs? – Makeup, textiles, paper, purse, keys, mirror, mints, mobile, pen – the list is endless. And on the bag most of it seems necessary. I like my dark green bag Francesca Blas – has a lot, but unfortunately I can not find the items they want – it's like a bottomless pit. I guess I have to add a torch on my list. At the other end of the scale, my jewel encrusted nice evening bag oval (a market of a recent trip to India) has virtually nothing – just shines and makes me feel good. I love him so much, I do not want to leave my side to dance, not leaving the table or dancing around the dance floor (a form of bag A cult is one), it loops gently on my wrist, pulling the capture and child in my silk dress – a small price to pay I say.
I digress, back to the history of the handbag:
It all started in ancient Egypt, where men were the first to use handbags in the shape of a bag tied around his waist (I suppose they do need both hands free to push the heavy stones in the pyramids).
In medieval Europe, where these bags used by men and women and has become a status symbol. rich embroidery and quality leather used has shown how the owner was rich. Was this the beginning of designer bags?
In the late 18th century France, the ladies proper bag was launched under the name "grid. Instead of carrying a bag around the waist and hidden under their many skirts, women in the world have begun to give bags not to lose the aspect of his empire style new clothing line. reticles The first cable is granted usually little delicate network with pearls or brocade. The name derives of the word "ridiculous" than the previous bags have been ridiculed as foreign. It is known that the Empress Josephine was the first to use a grid – that she the first celebrity to influence the stock designs.
Louis Vuitton opened its first boutique in Paris in 1854, selling luggage, but not until 1959, when monogram bag appeared. This became the LV logo bag market most copied designer in the false.
The term "bag" started use in the 1900s to describe the hand luggage carried by men. Designers began to make smaller versions for women that Women are more independent and therefore not dependent on men or officials to carry items for them. upper-class women prefer small decorative bags instead of the more practical as they were hunters, did little money and then had the house keys were useless stewards.
Most evening bags, before the 1940s were pockets until Chanel Coco Chanel designed the 2.5 with a chain bracelet in 1955 (best to treat your champagne and canapés). The idea padded quilt design was inspired by the quilted jackets hockey for the love of horses Coco.
The first "it" bag Hermes bag Kelly was renamed in 1950 after it was made famous by Princess Grace of Monaco (formerly the actress Grace Kelly, it's not for old movies), who apparently used to cover her pregnant tummy. It was followed by Hermes Birkin bag that was designed for actress Jane Birkin in 1981, Kelly said his bag was not practical for use daily. Later affirm their weight Birkin bag did not help the tendinitis.
Jackie Kennedy had increased sales of Gucci handbags when photographed her purse – After changing the name of Jackie O. (Both Jackie and bag).
Bag Lady Diana's favorite designer was Dior. In 1995, he sent a new model Dior as a gift from Dior and Madame Chirac quickly this new model the name of Lady Dior in his honor.
Ferragamo designer has chosen to Thatcher bags. His black Ferragamo handbag bought in 1980 for 300 pounds has attracted a bid of £ 190,000 in a charity auction sale in 2000. It appears that the former are the best.
The Fendi baguette became the "it" bag of the 1990s and was the firm's purse Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and the City."
The Balenciaga Lariat has been one of the first "it" bags to a waiting list (released in 2001).
We see handbags have always been a form of statement, but now there are more options and play an important role in the stylish image that we want to represent. You can define a look. A large bag can make us look smaller or height, red, mustard or bag may inject a touch of color to your wardrobe black dominated otherwise, jeans and shirts are shabby chic transformed into commodities when used with a designer bag, and are instantly updated base if the trends this season are displayed in a bag.
With a bag that you need not worry: Is it good, is too young for me, I was the last time I saw them, I hope nobody else comes in the same bag – you can enjoy. And unlike the shoes (that's another story), they age well.
